Dries De Clercq , PhD

Post-Doctoral Fellow

Dries received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Ghent University, Belgium in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Serge Van Calenbergh, Prof. Jan Tavernier and Dr. Sam Lievens. During his Ph.D., he worked on the synthesis of chemical dimerizers for the optimization of a mammalian three-hybrid system (MASPIT) with applications in chemical biology, target deconvolution and drug discovery research. Dries joined the Gray lab in March, 2016 as a postdoctoral research fellow and is currently interested in the development of novel small-molecule kinase inhibitors targeting EGFR.
